## New Modules & Features

### WebSocket Management New Module
The new WebSocket Management module gives administrators full visibility into and control over queued WebSocket outbound calls — without having to touch or pause other campaigns running at the same time.

Use caseIdeal for organizations using WebSocket-based voice bots where administrators need to temporarily pause, resume, or remove queued outbound calls during maintenance or operational changes. **What it does:**

- View every queued WebSocket outbound call
- Pause queued outbound calls
- Resume paused outbound calls
- Remove queued calls whenever required
- Monitor queue status in real time

**How to find it:**

1. Log in to your VoiceLink dashboard (Reseller or Client).
2. Open **Voice Services** in the left navigation.
3. Click **Websocket Management**.
4. You’ll land on the queue view, where you can view, pause, resume, or remove queued outbound calls and monitor queue status, per this month’s release notes.

### WebSocket Time Group Management New Module
WebSocket Time Groups let administrators build reusable weekly calling-hour schedules once, then apply the same schedule across multiple clients — so outbound WebSocket campaigns only ever fire during permitted business hours.

Use caseOrganizations managing multiple clients can centrally maintain business-hour schedules and assign them to different clients, ensuring outbound calls occur only during configured time windows. **What it does:**

- Create multiple weekly time groups
- Configure daily calling schedules
- Assign a single schedule to multiple clients
- Update schedules from one central location
- Automatically block outbound calls outside configured hours

**How to find it:**

1. Open **Voice Services** in the left navigation.
2. Click **WebSocket Time Groups**.
3. Create a new time group, set the daily windows you want to allow, and save.
4. Assign the time group to one or more clients from the same screen — updating it later automatically applies to everyone it’s assigned to.

### DID & Channel Grace Period

DIDs and Channels no longer expire the instant a renewal is missed. They now enter a configurable Grace Period during which the service stays fully active while the reseller completes renewal — no dropped calls, no scramble.

Use caseGives resellers additional time to renew services, preventing accidental service disruption from a missed renewal. **What it does:**

- Configurable grace period, set per reseller
- Services stay active throughout the grace window
- Manual renewal available at any point during the grace period
- Seamless continuation once renewal succeeds
- DID release and channel deallocation only happen after the grace period actually expires

**How to find it:**

1. Go to **Phone Numbers** (or the **Renew** tab under Purchase Management).
2. A DID or Channel past its renewal date now stays active during its grace period instead of expiring immediately, per this month’s release notes.
3. Renew manually from the same screen any time before the grace period ends.

### Email OTP Verification

OTP-based email verification has been added across account registration, login, profile email updates, and KYC — tightening account security at every point an email address matters.

Use caseEnsures only verified users can access the platform and complete account-related activities, reducing the risk of unauthorized account usage. **What it does:**

- Mandatory email verification during registration
- Unverified users must complete OTP verification before first login
- OTP verification required before KYC submission
- Profile email changes require OTP verification before the update takes effect
- Consistent email-ownership verification across every critical workflow

**How to find it:**

1. You’ll see it automatically the next time you sign up, log in for the first time, submit KYC, or change the email address on your Profile — no separate menu to visit.
2. Each of those flows now pauses on an OTP entry screen; check the inbox for the email you just entered and enter the code to continue.

## Enhancements

### Grace Renewal Retry Automation Enhancement
Pairs directly with the new Grace Period feature above: renewals are now retried automatically the moment a reseller tops up their wallet, so nobody has to remember to go back and manually renew each service after recharging.

Use caseResellers who missed auto-renewal due to low wallet balance no longer need to manually renew each service after recharging. **What it does:**

- Automatically retries failed renewals right after a wallet recharge
- No manual renewal step required after topping up
- Processes renewals oldest-expiry-first
- Uses available wallet balance efficiently across everything queued
- Services remain in the grace period until renewed or the grace window expires

**How to find it:**

1. Nothing to configure — top up your wallet as usual from **Wallet → Top Up**.
2. Renewal for any DIDs/Channels still in their grace period is retried automatically, oldest expiry first, per this month’s release notes.

### Queue-Based Report Export Enhancement
Large report exports now run through a background queue instead of holding up the browser tab while the CSV generates.

Use caseImproves the experience of exporting large reports by preventing browser timeouts and cutting down waiting time. **What it does:**

- CSV generation now happens in the background
- You can keep working in the app while the export runs
- Faster overall report processing
- Prevents timeout failures on large exports

**How to find it:**

1. Go to **Reports**, pick any report (Call Logs, Channel Report, etc.), and click Export.
2. Check **Export History Report** a little later — your file will be ready there instead of blocking the page while it generates.

### Report Export Improvements Enhancement
A set of smaller usability fixes to reporting: exports now always reflect the latest data, and the Customer Success filter got easier to use.

Use caseA smoother reporting experience, with exported reports always reflecting the latest available records. **What it does:**

- Support for re-exporting a report after the underlying data changes
- Improved Customer Success (CS) filter usability
- Long CS names now display with tooltips instead of getting cut off
- Exported reports always contain the latest available data

**How to find it:**

1. Open any report under **Reports** and use the CS filter — hover over a long name to see the new tooltip.
2. If the underlying data has changed since your last export, re-export from the same screen to pull the current numbers.

### SIP Trunk & Provider Server Audio Format Enhancement
Audio codec selection is now configurable for Custom SIP Trunks and Provider Servers, letting administrators pick the codec that matches their own telephony infrastructure.

Use caseLets organizations configure a compatible audio codec based on their telephony infrastructure and SIP provider requirements. **What it does:**

- Configure audio codec while creating or editing a Custom SIP Trunk
- Configure audio codec for Provider Servers
- Codec settings are saved and applied automatically
- Improved interoperability with different SIP providers

**How to find it:**

1. Go to **Voice Services → SIP Trunk Management**.
2. Create a new trunk (or edit an existing one) and set **Bot Provider** to **Custom**.
3. The Audio Format field (PCM/Linear16, PCMU/G.711 μ-law, or PCMA/G.711 A-law) is now available to configure directly here — it stays hidden for predefined providers, since VoiceLink already handles the codec for those automatically.

### CPS Calculation Display Enhancement
The Channel Mapping page now shows the calculated Calls Per Second (CPS) value directly, based on the channels currently configured for a client.

Use caseHelps administrators understand channel capacity and estimate how many simultaneous outbound calls the configured channels can support. **What it does:**

- Displays the calculated CPS value automatically
- Gives better visibility into channel utilization
- Assists with outbound capacity planning
- Improves channel management and monitoring overall

**How to find it:**

1. Go to **Client Management** and open a client’s **Channel Mapping** tab.
2. The CPS figure now appears alongside the allocated channel count — no separate calculation needed.

## Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to enable any of this month’s updates manually?

No. Everything in this recap is already live on every reseller and client account. The two new modules (WebSocket Management, WebSocket Time Groups) simply appear as new items under Voice Services; the enhancements apply automatically to existing screens.

Do I need to request the DID & Channel Grace Period, or does it apply automatically?

It’s automatic and configurable per reseller, per this month’s release notes — there’s no separate request or opt-in step.

What happens if I don’t renew before the grace period ends?

Per this month’s release notes, the DID is released and the channel is deallocated automatically once the grace period expires.

Does Email OTP Verification apply to existing accounts or only new sign-ups?

It’s woven into registration, login, KYC submission, and profile email changes — so any account touching one of those flows will see the OTP step, not just brand-new sign-ups.

Where do I actually download an export queued through the new Queue-Based Report Export?

From the Export History Report screen. The release notes confirm CSV generation now runs in the background so you can keep working while it processes, rather than the export blocking your browser tab.

Is the new Audio Format setting relevant if I’m using a predefined bot provider like Vapi or Retell?

No — VoiceLink already manages the codec automatically for predefined providers. The configurable Audio Format field only appears when Bot Provider is set to Custom.
