What’s New on VoiceLink — August 2026 Updates & Enhancements

VoiceLink’s August 2026 updates introduce improvements across KYC verification, client resource management, SIP Trunk configuration, DID transaction tracking, and reseller onboarding.

These enhancements are designed to make platform administration more structured, improve visibility into resources, simplify telephony configuration, and strengthen verification workflows.

Latest Enhancements

KYC Supporting Document Upload Enhancement

PAN Card and Aadhaar Card uploads are now required for both Individual and Business KYC as part of the verification process. Existing clients can upload the required documents directly from the Profile section.

Use caseThis enhancement ensures that the required identity documents are collected and available for verification before users proceed further with VoiceLink.

What it does:

  • Requires PAN Card and Aadhaar Card for Individual and Business KYC
  • Allows existing clients to upload documents from the Profile section
  • Supports secure storage of submitted documents for verification
  • Allows users to re-upload documents if they are unclear, invalid, incomplete, or require correction
  • Helps ensure KYC documentation is available before proceeding further

How to find it:

  1. Log in to your VoiceLink dashboard and open Profile.
  2. Look for the KYC Documents section — PAN Card and Aadhaar Card upload fields now appear here for both Individual and Business KYC.
  3. If a previously submitted document is flagged as unclear, invalid, or incomplete, the same screen lets you re-upload a corrected version.

Client Management: Channel & CPS Allocation Enhancement

Client Management now provides improved control over channel and CPS allocation, including CPS assignment for Unlimited Channel clients and better visibility into resources allocated to each client.

Use caseResellers can manage client-level channel and CPS allocation while monitoring their available CPS capacity and reallocating resources when required.

What it does:

  • Allows CPS allocation for Unlimited Channel clients
  • Displays configured CPS ceiling and available CPS capacity
  • Shows Channels and CPS allocated to individual clients
  • Validates allocations against the reseller’s available CPS capacity
  • Supports dynamic CPS reallocation between clients when capacity permits
  • Enables Unlimited Channel clients to be managed through CPS-based allocation

How to find it:

  1. Go to Client Management and open a client’s allocation settings.
  2. For Unlimited Channel clients, a CPS field is now available alongside the channel setting — the screen also shows your configured CPS ceiling and remaining capacity as you allocate.
  3. Reallocate CPS between clients from the same screen; the system validates each change against your available capacity before saving.

SIP Trunk – Whitelist Configuration Enhancement

SIP Trunk configuration now includes a dedicated Whitelist Configuration section that brings required hostnames, ports, SIP URIs, and Tech Prefix information together in one place.

Use caseThis enhancement simplifies SIP Trunk setup by giving users easy access to all required connectivity details without referring to separate documentation.

What it does:

  • Displays required SIP Signaling and Media/Recording hostnames
  • Provides port information required for configuration
  • Displays required SIP URIs
  • Adds a Copy option for hostnames, ports, and URIs
  • Provides Tech Prefix details along with an example SIP dial string
  • Helps reduce manual configuration errors during SIP Trunk setup

How to find it:

  1. Go to Voice Services → SIP Trunk Management.
  2. Open the new Whitelist Configuration section on the trunk setup screen.
  3. Use the Copy icon next to any hostname, port, or SIP URI to grab it directly — the Tech Prefix and a sample dial string are listed alongside for reference.

DID Logs – Information Enhancement Enhancement

DID Logs now include additional transaction details, providing users with better visibility into DID-related activities and orders.

Use caseThe additional information makes it easier for users to identify, track, and verify individual DID transactions.

What it does:

  • Adds Discount details to DID Logs
  • Adds Order ID for transaction identification
  • Improves visibility into DID-related transactions
  • Makes individual orders easier to trace and verify

How to find it:

  2. Discount and Order ID columns now appear alongside existing transaction details for each entry.

Reseller Signup – Input Validation Enhancement Enhancement

Reseller signup now includes enhanced input validation to ensure that important reseller details are entered in a consistent and valid format.

Use caseThis enhancement helps maintain cleaner and more consistent reseller information across the VoiceLink platform from the point of signup.

What it does:

  • Requires a minimum of 3 characters for First Name
  • Requires a minimum of 3 characters for Last Name
  • Requires a minimum of 3 characters for Company Name
  • Prevents special characters in these fields
  • Applies validation during the reseller signup process

Frequently Asked Questions

Do existing clients need to re-submit KYC because of this update?

Only if their existing KYC record doesn’t already include PAN Card and Aadhaar Card uploads. Existing clients can add the required documents from the Profile section without restarting the full KYC process.

Can CPS be allocated to a client who already has an Unlimited Channel plan?

Yes — this is exactly what the August update adds. Unlimited Channel clients can now be managed through CPS-based allocation, with the reseller’s available capacity validated at the time of assignment.

Does the new SIP Trunk Whitelist Configuration change existing trunk setups?

No. It surfaces the hostnames, ports, SIP URIs, and Tech Prefix details you’d otherwise need to look up separately, alongside a sample dial string — existing trunks continue working as configured.

Will the Order ID and Discount fields appear for past DID transactions or only new ones?

Per this month’s release notes, the enhancement adds these fields to DID Logs generally, giving better visibility into DID-related transactions and making individual orders easier to trace going forward.

What happens if a reseller signup field fails the new validation?

The signup form will flag the field — for example, a First Name, Last Name, or Company Name under 3 characters, or one containing special characters — and the reseller needs to correct it before the signup can proceed.
